Operating out of our Scottish workshop, we offer a complete suite of bespoke 3D printing and CAD design services. Whether you are looking for a heavy-duty airsoft modification, a custom mechanical bracket, or a unique prototype, we have the tools and materials to get it done.

We offer three flexible tiers of service. Please note: The upfront price paid is a non-refundable deposit. This covers the initial time spent consulting, reviewing your files, or beginning foundational CAD work. This deposit secures your spot in our workshop queue and will be fully subtracted from the final cost of your completed project.

1. Print My File (Print-On-Demand)
You already have the .STL, .STEP, or .OBJ file and just need it manufactured. This deposit covers standard machine setup, file review, and slicing. Please note: For this tier, you are fully responsible for ensuring the file provided is 3D-printable. You may specify your preferred print orientation in your email if you require specific layer-line strength or surface finish. Send us the file, let us know your required material, and we will print it.

2. Tweak & Print (File Modification)
You found a file online, but it isn't quite right. Maybe it needs to be scaled up, a mounting hole needs to be widened, or a weak point needs to be beefed up for impact resistance. This deposit covers our initial CAD time to alter the model to your specifications before printing.

3. Design from Scratch (Bespoke Engineering)
You have a napkin sketch, a broken physical part that needs reverse-engineering, or a pure concept in your head. This deposit covers the initial consultation and foundational CAD work required to start building your model from the ground up. This comprehensive process typically involves creating physical prototype test prints to ensure perfect fit, form, and function before we manufacture the final piece.

How the Process Works

Because every project is completely unique in its size, material, and required design time, we operate on a simple deposit-and-quote system:

Step 1: Secure Your Spot
Select your required service tier from the drop-down menu and add it to your cart. Completing checkout pays your non-refundable deposit and secures your project in our workshop queue.

Step 2: Send Us Your Details
Immediately after checking out, send an email to shop@b3ds.co.uk with your Order Number in the subject line. Please include:

• Any files, sketches, or reference photos you have.
• The required application of the part (e.g., "It needs to withstand outdoor weather," or "It's a high-impact airsoft chassis").
• Required dimensions or measurements.
• (If using "Print My File", please include your preferred print orientation if applicable).

Step 3: The Final Quote
We will review your project and reply with a final quote for the remaining balance. This final cost will be based on the amount of material used, total print time, prototyping (if applicable), and any extensive engineering time required. (Your upfront non-refundable deposit will be subtracted from this total).

Step 4: Manufacture & Dispatch
Once the final balance is settled via a secure custom checkout link, we will manufacture your part, send you updates, and dispatch it directly to your door!

Materials & Capabilities

We currently focus our manufacturing on two highly versatile materials, chosen specifically for their reliability and performance:

• PLA: Perfect for highly detailed prototypes, display pieces, and indoor mechanical parts. It offers fantastic dimensional accuracy and a clean, sharp finish.
• ASA: Our go-to engineering-grade material for heavy-duty applications. ASA is highly impact-resistant, temperature-resistant, and completely UV-stable, making it the absolute perfect choice for outdoor gear, automotive brackets, or durable airsoft upgrades.
